Walter Miller

Walter "Woody" Miller, 84, of McKenney, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Paul and Wilhelmia Jensen Miller, and was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, and a son-in-law, Pasquale Tuscano. Mr. Miller was a veteran in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Pearl L. Miller; daughters, Karen Tuscano of New York, Sharon Cogle and husband, Eugene of Prince George, Helen Swartout of Colonial Heights, and Cynthia Taylor of Texas; sons, Eric Miller of Colonial Heights, Paul Miller and John Miller both of New York; step-children, Jewel Cawthron and husband, Scott of Prince George, Bruce Waddell and wife, Sandra of McKenney, Luther Cornell and wife, Patricia of Dinwiddie, and William Daniel Cornell and wife, Stephanie of Matoaca; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2010 at Manson's United Methodist Church, 17211 Manson Church Road, McKenney, Virginia 23872 with the Reverend Karen Workman officiating. Interment private. The family will receive friends following the service at the church Fellowship Hall. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
