Warren Lewis

Warren Richard "Rick" Lewis, 73, of Chester, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital. He was born February 12, 1944 in Petersburg, Virginia to the late Richard W. and Katherine Harrison Lewis and was preceded in death by a brother, Robin Dale Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a member of the National Guard, and American Legion Post 284. He retired after 32 years of service from Honeywell Technical Center and was an avid NASCAR and Redskins fan. Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda B. Lewis; two daughters, Teresa Love and Brandi L. Lewis; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Donald C. Lewis and Larry R. Lewis. The family ask that dress be causal and to wear anything NASCAR or Redskins in honor of Rick. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2017 in Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Road Petersburg, Virginia with the Rev Cannon James Drinard Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
