Wayne Randolph Jones

Wayne Randolph Jones 66, of Colonial Heights, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 at the Medical College of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, Edmond Whitley Jones. Wayne was in auto sales with Heritage Chevrolet and then he went on to work at Crossroads Ford where he retired after many years in the auto sale industry.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Gray Jones, sisters, Beatie Cook and husband Roger, Jackie Kelly and husband Doug, nephews Corey Nichols and wife Nikkie, Justin Kelly, Jason Kelly and wife Kristin, niece, Britney Nichols, great-nephew, Kasen Nichols, great-nieces Hadley Kelly, Whitley Kelly, Olivia Mack, Delayna Nichols, and Kaylan Nichols, and his aunt, Mary Vaughan. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery 6329 Mill Swamp Rd, Ivor, VA 23866 with the Reverend David Prather officiating.  The family will receive friends Friday, September 29, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
