Wayne Todd Reames

Wayne Todd Reams, 55, of McKenney, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at his residence. Born March 31, 1969, he was the son of the late Thomas Glynn and Frances Jane Hawkins Reames. 

Wayne loved the simple things in life and had a real connection with the outdoors. He took great pride in his work as a groundskeeper for Skookum Contract Services at Fort Gregg-Adams.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Phyllis A. Reames; daughters, Juanita Thomas and husband, Randolph Thomas Jr., Crystal Andrews, Cindy Moore, Bonnie French Shelly Gishwind, Shawn White, Hajnalka Woosley; a son, John Harmon and wife, Shawn; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Melvin Glynn Reames wife, Janette, Thomas Glynn Reames; sisters, Carol Nelson and husband, Gus, Debbie Fullhart and husband, Ed; and numerous nieces and nephews.
