Wayne Robertson, 76, of Dinwiddie passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at his residence. Born September 30, 1944, he was the son of the late Willis and Marie Robertson. A United States Army and Army Reserve Veteran, Wayne proudly served his beloved country during the Vietnam War. After 40 years of dedicated service, he retired from Titmus Optical/Zeiss. He was a member of the James River Black Powder Club and was a member of a Revolutionary War Reenactment club named the 7 th Virginia Militia. Wayne was co-owner of Cardinal Hill Farms, which specialized in livestock, particularly egg production. He would take his eggs every Saturday to the Colonial Heights Farmers Market, where he became a staple figure in the community. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kay Robertson; children, SanDee Moore and husband, Dr. Mark Moore, DusDee Robertson; three grandchildren, Kayleigh Moore, Seth Moore, Sydney Moore; brother, James Robertson; sister, Phyllis Reames and husband, Wayne; an entire farm of cherished livestock; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society – Relay for Life, P.O.
