Wilber Espinoza, Sr.

Wilber Espinoza, Sr., 66, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Born in El Salvador on February 7, 1957, he was the son of the late Anibal Adalberto Espinoza Arevalo and Maria Aminda Cornejo Viude de Espinoza. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jose, Apolonio, Nelson, Toño, and Lolito; sisters, Alicia and Josefina; grandson, Nicolas; and granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth.

Wilber was an avid fan of soccer, always watching it on T.V. and admiring the sport. He also loved to dance, sing karaoke, and cook. Most importantly, he loved his family immensely and enjoyed spending time with them - especially his grandchildren. You could often find Wilber at the local Publix or Food Lion, as that was always his favorite trips to make.

He is survived by his loving wife, Emma Isabel Flores; son, Luis Reyes and wife, and their three children; daughter, Susana Crespo and husband, and their two children; daughter, Claudia Espinoza, and her four children; daughter, Angela and spouse, and their child; son, Wilber and his wife, and their three children; daughter, Emma and her husband, and their child; sister, Ana Maricela and her husband; and numerous special nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the funeral home.
