Wilbur West

Wilbur R. "Bill" West, 73, of Ford, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015. Born on August 5, 1942, he was the son of the late Wilbur J. and Rose Taylor West and was also preceded in death by his sister, Jewell West Gettings. Mr. West was a retired sandblaster and painter. He is survived by his son, Willy West, of Alabama; daughter, Sandy Fogle, of Richmond; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sister, Marie W. Smalley and husband, Ricky, of Juliette, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Rd, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832, with the Reverend Dr. Andy Brockelman officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to VCU Massey Cancer Center, Palliative Care, P.O. Box 843042, Richmond, Virginia 23284. Funeral arrangements are being handled by E.
