Wilda “Ricki” Lee Rolley George Albert Rolley, Sr

Wilda “Ricki” Lee Rolley, 76, of Disputanta passed away Friday, January 21, 2022. She was born on February 26, 1945 to the late Lloyd Adis and Reabel Vernell Hurt Rickman. Wilda passed away four days before her loving husband of 58 years, George Albert Rolley Sr. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Jean Rickman. She was a long-time member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Disputanta, Virginia. Wilda enjoyed arts and crafts during her free time but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, her fur-babies, and her wonderful church friends.

George Albert Rolley, Sr., 82, of Disputanta passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022. He was born on July 2, 1939 to the late Peyton Phillips and Maude Selma Owney Rolley. George passed away four days after his loving wife of 58 years, Wilda Lee Rolley. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Peyton Phillips Rolley, Jr, Lawrence Jacob Rolley, and Barbara Ann Bailey (Peter). George was currently employed with Cowling Brothers and has served them for many years as a dedicated, life-long truck driver. During his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his wonderful grandchildren, his fur-babies, and either working or adventuring out in the outdoors.

Wilda and George are survived by their son, George Albert Rolley Jr. (Stacey); daughter, Pamela Jean Rolley (Keith); grandchildren, Austin Ryan Rolley (Natalie), Kayla Rolley Newcomb (Nick), Spencer Dylan Rolley, and Lindsay Phillingane Paul (Joseph); and five amazing great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the Crater Road Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 South Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, South Prince George, Virginia 23805. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the funeral home. After the service the family will hold a reception at Trinity Methodist Church, 10021 County Dr, Disputanta, VA 23842. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to The Prince George County Animal Shelter, 8391 County Drive, Disputanta, VA 23842.
