William Anderson

Mr. William Carr “Bill” Anderson, AIA, passed away on May 4, 2022, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 16, 1951, he was the son of the late Lee Roye and Mary Lou Anderson. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Rebecca Lee Anderson.

He is survived by his son, Jamie Carr Anderson (Donna), and grandsons, Eli and Walter of Colonial Heights, VA; his brother, Jimmy Lee Anderson (Anna), of North Carolina; numerous cousins, nephews, great niece, and great nephews; and his life partner during his last years, Linda R. Thomas.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Road Chesterfield, Virginia 23832. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on May 12, 2022, at the funeral home.
