William Beasley Jr.

William “Bill” Everette Beasley Jr., 77, of Chester passed away Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born on September 8, 1944 in Petersburg to the late William and Julia Beasley and was preceded in death by his siblings, John C. Beasley and Nancy B. Pearce. Mr. Beasley served his country in the United States Navy and was a retired Federal Employee from Fort Lee as a Contract Administrator.   Bill was a member of:  IBEW Local 666. He is survived by his wife, Linda P. Beasley; sons, William “Bill” Everette Beasley III, Bryon K. Beasley (Becky), John L. Beasley (Apryl) and Jeffrey Gordon Humphries (Susan); daughters, Tamara L. Queen (Carter) and Cheryl D. Evans (John); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, David A. Beasley (Carol) and sisters, June Anderson (George), Pat Smith, Janet Janosik (Mickey), Susan Basl and Donna Jarvis (David). A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory with Rev. Tony Kohout officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org/donate) or to the Parkinson’s Foundation (Parkinson.org/donate).
