William "Billy" W. Brown, Jr.

William “Billy” Wallace Brown Jr., 47, of South Chesterfield, VA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. He was born on April 30, 1976 on an Army Base in Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father, William Wallace Brown Sr. and his uncle, Robert Bruce Brown.

Billy was co-owner of Signature Plumbing for 19 years, where he took great pride in his work and was known for his hardworking demeanor. In his free time, he loved to cook on his grill, enjoyed restoring his 1969 Chevelle and valued his family time. Most importantly, Billy’s two sons were his pride and joy in life and he cherished every moment spent with them.  Billy’s kind-hearted, giving and vibrant personality brightened the lives of those around him and he will be missed immensely by those who knew him.

Billy was a dedicated and loving husband, father, son-in-law, brother, uncle and friend. Surviving him is his beloved wife of 22 years, Cammie Barfield Brown; two sons whom he loved dearly, William “BB” Wallace Brown, III. and Dalton “Ace” Brown; mother-in-law, Leanne Barfield; father-in-law, Keith Barfield; brother-in-law, Allen Barfield; nephew, Gavin Barfield; beloved dogs, Buddy and Wicket; many childhood friends that were like family to him; and numerous aunts, uncles, and other extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. The family kindly requests all who visit dress in casual attire, as that would be Billy’s wishes. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choosing in Billy’s honor.
