William Chumney

William H. Chumney, 74, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Sylvester J. and Claudine Burrow Chumney. Mr. Chumney is survived by his wife, Ethylene W. Chumney; children, Charles Young (Teri), Bill Young, Michael Hutchinson, and Bonnie Reynolds (Jerry); fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and two nieces. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in Crewe Cemetery, Crewe, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
