William Harold Clemens

William “Bill” H. Clemens, 92 passed away on December 31, 2024. Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara “Bobbi” Clemens; as well as his parents and siblings. He is survived by his children, Patricia “Patti” Mitchell (Danny), Michael Clemens, Gregory Clemens (Helen), Nancy Boswell (Jonathan), David Clemens (Katie). He has 8 grandchildren: Kristin, Britney, Jonathan II, Justin, Dillon, Leslie, Zac, Sarah; and 5 great grandchildren, Kayden, Addison, Caroline, Lane, Carson. 

Bill was born in Evansville IN and joined the Air Force in 1952. While stationed in Keesler AFB, he met Bobbi and they married in 1956. He was an Electronics Instructor in the AF. Most of his rewarding career was spent working Civil Service in Air Defense for our country. 

Bill’s true passion in life though was his love of the late model Chevrolet Corvair. He loved to purchase and restore these cars, trucks, and vans, any chance he got. He bought his first Corvair in 1969 and used it as his daily driver for many years and still owned this car at his time of passing. He loved going to classic car shows and Corvair conventions. He was a true Corvair Enthusiast and passed his love of the car on to his children.
