William Nathaniel Crowder, Jr., 64, of Prince George passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023 at his home. Born March 3, 1959, he was the son of Norma Joan Harper and the late William Nathaniel Crowder, Sr.
William dedicated a significant portion of his life to his work at Alstom Power, where he served as a gas turbine specialist for many years.
Outside of his professional life, William found joy in the simplicity of life's pleasures. A passionate outdoorsman, he enjoyed the thrill of hunting and the tranquility of fishing. Nature was his sanctuary, and he found solace in the great outdoors.
One of William’s most cherished pastimes was cruising in his beloved red 2005 Mustang. The wind in his hair, the open road before him—these moments brought him a sense of freedom and pure bliss. The Mustang became a symbol of his adventurous spirit and love for life's adventures.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Yolonda Brooks Crowder; sons, Ryan Nathaniel Crowder (Victoria Houp) and Jesse Martinez; granddaughter, Rylee Crowder and an angel on the way, Payslee Crowder; mother, Norma Joan Gibbs; brothers, Tommy Crowder and Russell Gibbs; beloved cousins, Deborah Franciscus (Marty) and Knuck Crowder (Kathy); and other extended family members.
