William Goodwin

William Lee Goodwin, 68, of Prince George, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018. Born April 25, 1950 in Richmond, Virginia, he was the son of the late William T. and Doris Tuck Goodwin. Mr. Goodwin was a member of the Colonial Heights Baptist Church, now the Heights Baptist Church, a retired Manager for Sears, with 33 years of service, and a pest control professional. He loved camping, hiking, fishing and being in the outdoors; he was a history buff and a member of the NRA. He is survived by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Goodwin; a daughter, Shannon Ton (Martin); a son, Jason Goodwin (Jennifer); a step-son, John Clements (Allison); a step-daughter, Kelly Clements; numerous grandchildren; two brothers, Clifford Goodwin (Susan) and Ned Goodwin; an aunt, Carol Davis; and numerous nieces & nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Heights Baptist Church, 17201 Jefferson Davis Highway, S. Chesterfield, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Jim Reeves officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
