William Robert “Bob” Hall, 76, of Chester, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021. He was born in Walton County, Florida on May 16, 1944 to the late William and Ruby Hall and was baptized into the Baptist faith on April 12, 1964 in Eustis, Florida. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and retired in 1984 after 24 years of service. Following his military service, Mr. Hall worked for Metro Machine Shop until 1994, then as a truck driver with Highway Express for almost 20 years. His favorite hobbies were freshwater fishing and cheering on the University of Alabama football team. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Hall; brother, Stanley Farrell Hall; and sister, Marlene Hall. He is survived by his wife, Dinah S. Hall; brother, Mark Hall (Tamara); sisters, Priscilla Hall Lambert (Bill) and Brenda Hall Finser (Kevin); children, Billy Hall, Denise Hall Burnett, and Debbie Hall Vuolo (Mike); step-children, Darrel Price and Glenda Price; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held in Florida at a later date. Funeral arrangements made by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
