-- View a Video --In Memory Of William G. "Fatman" Harrison William G. "Fatman" Harrison, 62, of Dinwiddie, passed away Sunday July 28, 2013 at his residence. He was born February 20, 1951 to the late David Wallace Harrison Sr., and Elizabeth Nunnally Harrison. William was a member of Central Baptist Church, and the Reedy Creek Hunt Club. He fought a long and courageous battle with Cancer and was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. William enjoyed a life of Hunting and Fishing and quality time spent with his faithful companions Robert E. Lee, Dolly Madison, and Miley Lee. He is survived by his wife Debra C. Harrison, sons Claude Gregory Harrison of Newburg, West Virginia, David Jeffrey Harrison, of Katy Texas, Richard Scott Harrison, of Chesterfield, step-sons Michael Ernest Vaughan of Chester, David Lee Vaughan of Chester, grandson Tyler Frederick Harrison of Katy, Texas, two brothers Larry N. Harrison and wife Sandra of Dinwiddie, Richard A. Harrison and wife Sandra of Dinwiddie, two very special friends and caregivers Vickie Hawkins and Dixie Disher. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday July 31, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Robert J. "Bob" Smith Jr., officiating. Interment to follow in Blandford Cemetery Petersburg, Virginia. A special thanks to Hospice of Virginia including Beth, Joyce, Julie, Nicole, Abby, and Connie Winston.
