William Hicks Jr.

William Hicks Jr., 73, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2009 at his residence. He was the son of the late William Hicks Sr. and Pearl Willard Meadow Hicks. He worked for Damron's Garage in Hopewell, as a State Inspector. He is survived by his wife, Martha Hicks; a son, William Harold Hicks and wife, Jeri; four stepsons, Eugene Grammer, David Grammer, Joe Grammer and Richard Grammer; a grandson, Chris Hicks; three sisters, Margaret Lederhos of Carvo, Oregon, Shealvie Lilly of Glen Morgan, West Virginia, Shirley Haydon of Colonial Heights; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Larry Davis officiating. Interment Bermuda Memorial Park, Enon. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
