William Moore Sr.

William Earl Moore Sr., 78 of Colonial Heights, died Saturday April 24, 2010 at Tyler's Retreat Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Robert L. and Ruth James Moore and was preceded in death by a daughter; Catherine Dora Moore and a brother; Albert R. Moore. Mr. Moore was a member of Matoaca United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife; of 55 years Christine Scott Moore, son; William Earl "Bill" Moore Jr., and wife Tracey of Colonial Heights, grandson; William Earl "Tray" Moore III., of Colonial Heights, granddaughter; Autumn Lee Braithwaite of Colonial Heights, brother; James Robert Moore of Jacksonville, Florida, one special nephew; Jamie M. Scott of Petersburg, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will take place 2:00 p.m. Wednesday April 28, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Jo Ellen Hetherington officiating. Interment will be Private. The family will receive friends Tuesday April 27, 2010 from 7:30-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
