William O. Johnson

William O. Johnson, 76, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024. Born in 1948 in Muskegon, MI, he was the son of the late Victor R. Johnson, Sr. and Dorothy Ann Marron Johnson. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Johnson; two daughters, Michelle L. Johnson and husband, Scott Holcomb of Astoria, NY, and Renee M. Emmet and husband, Michael Emmet of New York, NY; three grandchildren, Ada Emmet, Clara Emmet, and Kate Emmet, all of New York, NY; and his brother, Victor R. Johnson, Jr. and wife, Nancy Johnson of Vallejo, CA.

William graduated from University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then went on to pursue his Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. William worked for Standard Motor Products in Disputanta, VA, from 2005 to 2013 as Director of Distribution. Other work experiences of his included marketing, customer service, and distribution. Outside of his work, he was an avid reader and author, and enjoyed fly fishing, golfing, and traveling. 

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center at https://giving.mskcc.org/rare-cancer. Arrangements are by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes, Colonial Heights, VA.
