William Peterson Sr.

William F. Peterson Sr., 82, of Dinwiddie, passed away Saturday May 30, 2015. He was born November 8, 1932 to the late John A. and Bessie Edmunds Peterson, and was preceded in death by his wife, Theda H. Peterson, a brother, Weldon Peterson and a sister, Elizabeth Watkins. Mr. Peterson retired after many years of service from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company. He is survived by a son, William F. Peterson Jr, daughter, Janet Peterson, step-son W. Ray Graham II, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers, John A Peterson II, and wife Barbara, Richard Peterson and wife Ethel, a sister in-law, Joan Peterson, and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday June 4, 2015 in the Mausoleum at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, in Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday June 3, 2015 from 7:00 -8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
