William Vaughan

William Edgar Vaughan, 81, of Chesterfield, passed away on Sunday June 30, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary G. Vaughan. Mr. Vaughan was a United States Navy Veteran, a ballroom dance instructor for Fred Astaire and Arthur Murray studios for many years. After his dancing career he worked for and retired from the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. He is survived by his half-brother, Cecil W. Simmons and sister in-law Brita; and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
