William Watkins

William C. Watkins (Skeeter), 85, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Chippenham Medical Center. He was the son of the late Thomas F. and Amanda Essig Watkins. Mr. Watkins was a United States Navy veteran, a member of Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and a retired Toll Collector with the Virginia Department of Transportation. He is survived by three nephews; and seven nieces. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2010 at Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Road, Petersburg with the Reverend Robert Livesay officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
