William Whirley

William Ross Whirley, 80, a resident of Golden Living Center Petersburg, passed away Monday, February 28, 2011 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Paul William and Jannie Rutledge Whirley. William is survived by his two sisters, Ruby W. Anderson and husband, Charles of Matoaca, and Janie W. Ozmore and husband, Linwood of Colonial Heights; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, with the Reverend Guy Murdock officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 7-8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
