Wilma Epley, 80, of Colonial Heights passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022. She was born in Kentucky on July 22, 1941 to the late Lath and Anna Warren and was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Chester Epley, USN (Ret.); son, David Epley; granddaughter, Ashley Smith; and brothers, twin, Willard Warren, J.B. Warren, Harold Warren, Lath Warren Jr., and Vernon Warren. Mrs. Epley worked in food service for Virginia Beach Schools and in the bakery at Food Lion. She enjoyed bowling, playing games, and going out to eat with her friends. She is survived by her daughters, Tammie Rawls (Mike) and Elaine Jenkins; grandchildren, Michael Rawls (Amber), Jeffry Jenkins, and Kelsey Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Cody Smith, Forrest and Ivy Jenkins, and Brayden, Bryson, and Kay Campo; sister, Peggy Wachsmann; brother, Leroy Warren; close friends, Joe Fuehrer, Sandy, Debbie, and Eva; and beloved dog, Taz. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 4, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
