Wilma Poole

Wilma Ruth Poole went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 27, 2011. Wilma was a devoted Christian and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was born to the late William and Betty Dolby on February 28, 1918. Preceded in death are her parents; five siblings; and her husband, Ernest W. Poole Sr. Wilma is survived by two children, Daniel Poole and his wife, Rhonda, and Linda Degan. Three precious grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters also survive her. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2011 in Calvary Baptist Church, 17001 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Ray Haskett officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
