Winifred Wheelhouse

Wheelhouse, Winifred Henderson, 101, of Colonial Heights, died peacefully on September 22, 2018 at The Crossings at Ironbridge, where she had resided for four years. She was preceded in death by her husband Stuart M. Wheelhouse, Sr.; daughter Carol Wheelhouse McCarthy; grandson Bobby Moore; and great-grandson Dana Rowsey. Wini is survived by her sons Stuart, Jr. (Barbara), Carl (Marlene), Richard, and Walter (Judy); six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was a charter member of Swift Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6p.m. to 8p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2018 at The Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Smalls Funeral Home, 2033 Blvd. Where a funeral service will be held 10a.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 with Dr. Stephen Felker presiding. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
