Winton Edwards Jr.

Winton W. (Squeaky) Edwards, Jr., 34, of Chester, died Sunday, May 4, 2008 at the Medical College of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, Winton W. Edwards, Sr. Winton was an avid Washington Redskins fan. He is survived by his wife, Tracie D. Edwards; two sons, Christopher R. and Johnathan W. Edwards; his mother, Debra W. Edwards; three brothers, Woodrow (Big Man) Edwards and wife Stephanie, Ray Edwards and wife Shari, and Tommy Harrell; a sister, Melissa Harrell; nieces, Tiffany, Krystin, Maykala, Amber, Taylor, Kayce, and many others; cousin, Elvis Edwards; a sister-in-law, Rachel and husband Joey Scott numerous other family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday May 8, 2008 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Rev. Rick Sonnycalf officiating. Interment to follow in the Family Cemetery, 18078 Hilda Road, Yale, Virginia (Sussex County) at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
