Woody Harris

Woody Marshall Harris 68, of Colonial Heights, died Tuesday December 24, 2008 at his residence. He was the son of the late Theodore Roosevelt and Myrtle Daughtry Harris. Mr. Harris was a United States Navy Veteran; he also retired from DuPont and Heritage Chevrolet. Woody was a member of Mount Pleasants Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. He is survived by his wife Sallie M. Harris of Colonial Heights, daughters, Elizabeth Lindsey and husband Michael A. Lindsey of North Carolina, Paula H. Sadler of Colonial Heights, grandchildren Laura L. Norris and husband Charles A. of North Carolina, Michael A. Lindsey Jr., of North Carolina, two brothers Samson Wendell Harris and Roy Anthony Harris, three sisters Edna H. Thorton, Judy Barber, and Clarice H. Carr. Funeral services will be private.
