Payment Choices
Our goal is to provide for the needs of each family at a cost where everyone is comfortable. It is our intention to keep costs within the financial limitations of each family. These options are provided to enable family members to better understand where they are financially, and how to best proceed. To accomplish that, it is necessary to complete financial matters before arrangements are scheduled. We accept:
- Check
- Cash
- Credit Card: Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express
- Pre-Need Funeral Plan
A pre-arranged funeral plan purchased through most funeral homes will pay proceeds to the funeral home performing services. When proceeds are insufficient the family will be responsible for the difference.
- Insurance Policy
An insurance assignment processing company will handle your claim, and insurance proceeds will be paid to the funeral home up to the amount of the funeral home charges. If proceeds are insufficient, the family will be responsible for the difference. A fee of 3.98% of the amount assigned will be added to the assignment. Remaining proceeds will be paid to the beneficiary.
- Financing
A lending company will process an application from family members. The interest rate and term will vary depending on the individual.
Pre-Planning Payments
Many individuals make arrangements for themselves by pre-planning their services. The pre-planning process is free but also has the option of paying for future services. Money collected before a death has occurred is placed with a funding company where it will be held until after death occurs. Usually that is many years later.
The funding company has different payment methods such as:
- Check payable to the funding company
- Monthly payments to the funding company by check, bank draft or major credit card
